ember: a small piece of glowing coal in a dying fire

This "Veil" was far from a hospitable place, so really, it was a perfect choice for Azula when she was feeling pretty inhospitable herself. It was dark and quiet-- perfect for sitting around and brooding, being frustrated with herself, and feeling sorry for herself. She'd report to the Vatican when she was needed and she'd still visit Lisa at least once a day, but the rest of the time, she'd stay here, with Aradia, in a strange sort of self-imposed exile. Really, she just needed to get away from things.

If nothing else, this place had a lot of empty space, which gave her a lot of room to explore. Much of the time she could be found skulking around (though she tended to stay away from the more busy areas of lab, such as the computer hub, when she was on her own), either wandering around, training, or just sitting and thinking.
