For my first through fifteenth birthdays, I was thrown lavish parties that were attended by hundreds of people. For my eighteenth today, I spent half of it with my mother, and half of it with my sister.

The Fire Nation royal parties were always excellent and they had a great deal of meaning, but I almost like it this way better. The well-wishes of an entire country are something to be incredibly proud of, but I think the well-wishes of those that I've chosen to call family are, in their own way, just as important. Maybe even more so.



This does not make me overly sentimental.

Low8loods sometimes ship off earlier, though.
They die quicker, so I guess they grow quicker too!
Nine sweeps is when the imperial drone makes its first rounds, though, and once that happens you fiiiiiiiinally get to go off-world.
