(no subject)

For my first through fifteenth birthdays, I was thrown lavish parties that were attended by hundreds of people. For my eighteenth today, I spent half of it with my mother, and half of it with my sister.

The Fire Nation royal parties were always excellent and they had a great deal of meaning, but I almost like it this way better. The well-wishes of an entire country are something to be incredibly proud of, but I think the well-wishes of those that I've chosen to call family are, in their own way, just as important. Maybe even more so.

This does not make me overly sentimental.

What does matter? That's an awful broad question.

I'm curious about your answer.

Me? I'm afraid it won't be interesting.

Because I'm an uninteresting person. Really.

You think lowly of yourself.

Or you just don't feel like saying for some reason.

Haha, maybe I don't have a high opinion of myself or maybe I do. Who can tell? I'm not sure whether or not that has a place in this conversation, anyways.

What did you with your mom and sister?

It's the latter, then.

I went to the spa with my mother. My sister made me a cake.

Sounds nice. Never knew my mom that well and never had a sister.

If you wanted one I'm sure you could find one here.
